Criminal Minds Season 13: Is JJ in Trouble?
01/23/2018 | By Mace Parker
It's that time of year when shows like Criminal Minds start setting up for the Season Finale, and this year it looks like the season might end with one of our favorite BAU agents leaving...again.
*WARNING* THIS ARTICLE MAY CONTAIN TRACES OF SPOILERS. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK. Below in a sneak peek for tomorrow's episode, JJ receives an email from Assistant Director Linda Barnes (Kim Rhodes) requesting they meet. Reid approaches JJ and asks her if it's "about her covert work with the Defense Department?" "That's what Barnes said," JJ says, but the last time she got an email like that from a person like Barnes, she was taken off the team. That can't be what's going on here (right?), so what does Barnes want? Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders fans will remember Assistant Director Linda Barnes from last season when she investigated the IRT (International Response Team) after the team got themselves into trouble with the FBI when a mission in Kurjikistan resulted in the death of a suspect, thus leading to the team being dismantled, hence why Matt Simmons (Daniel Henney) joined the BAU this season. According to Kim Rhodes' IMDB, she is set to appear in four episodes this season (episodes 13-16), which means whatever is happening is HUGE and is going to somehow affect the team majorly. So should JJ be worried about an email from Assistant Director Barnes? Could JJ be forced to leave the team again? Watch the sneak peek for Episode 13 "Cure" below. Catch the thirteenth episode of Criminal Minds Season 13 on Wednesday, January 24 at 10/9c on CBS
