The BAU is about to see it's biggest shake up yet. On Thursday, TVLine reported that the long-running CBS drama is looking to add two new series regulars in the wake of Gibson’s controversial firing, with one of the characters eyed to succeed Hotchner as team leader. Details on the other role are being kept under wraps for now. This comes after Gibson, who has been on the show since the start in 2005, kicked Writer and Producer Virgil Williams due to "Creative differences" and was initially suspended in July for two episodes and his directing stint that season axed. The incident occurred while Gibson was directing an episode of the show in the upcoming 12th season and had a dispute with the episode's writer (Williams), who also happened to be on-set. This was the second incident for Gibson with the show; he pushed assistant director Ian Woolf back in 2010 and had to attend anger management classes but remained on the show. Gibson released statement after news broke of his firing from the show "I love Criminal Minds and have put my heart and soul into it for the last 12 years," said Gibson. "I had hoped to see it through to the end, but that won't be possible now. I would just like to say thank you to the writers, producers, actors, our amazing crew, and, most importantly, the best fans that a show could ever hope to have." This will be the THIRD cast shake-up to happen this season after it was announced that Adam Rodriguez (Luke Alvez) joined the show to fill Shemar Moore's (Derek Morgan) void and that Aisha Tyler (Dr. Tara Lewis) was promoted to series regular. Not to mention the short term return of Paget Brewster (Emily Prentiss) this season. These additions to the show will bring the BAU to it's fullest yet with a total of 8 agents (9 if you count Prentiss) instead of the usual 7 or 6. Catch the Season 12 premiere of Criminal Minds on Wednesday, 28 Sept at 9/8c on CBS.

I can't believe that you people can't come to some kind of agreement on the matter it's three strikes and ur out and let me tell you as powerful a character he plays don't think he won't be given his own show and he'll kill it in the ratings and he'll probably end up stealing some of your criminal minds people. So you guys really need to ask yourself is it worth it to you guys we'll see
